3D Shapes & 2D Shapes

In maths I learnt that shape are solid shapes (cubes, rectangular prisms, triangular prisms, and cylinders) paper card foil scissors. I also learnt that cubes six sides and has eight corners and eight edges. How I did this was by doing this task and by using sites to figure out what a 3D shape is and what a 2D shape. 

Haiku

LI: to write a poem about feelings. I learnt that poems have syllables, rhythm, rhyming parts, and content. I learnt that some poems have rhyming in them. I also learnt that there are patterns in poems. In poems there are types of words pattern, number of words pattern, and syllables. I did this by doing the task.

kiwi sport

I learnt that when you want to do a high jump you must do the scissor kick. How i learnt this was by listening and doing what Andy said.

Commenting

I learnt how to make a smart comment and not to cyber bully. How learnt by using help.

Kiwi Can

In kiwi Can I learnt that when you are playing a game and then someone gets you out, don't cry or get angry just self control your emotions. I also learnt that to manage your feelings so that you don't cause any problems. How I learnt this was by using what the teacher the from kiwi Can and making it into one idea.

SSR Selfie



In Reading Mr Wong teach us how to us the SSR Selfie we had to Read a whole picture book or a chapter book for at least 15 minutes..I think this was kinda easy but level 1 was the best for me . 

Antonyms

LI: To use antonyms to make our writing more interesting. I learnt that antonyms are different kinds of words that are similar. I learnt that antonyms are use when a sentence doesn't make sense. How did this was by doing this task and using help for mates.

I learnt how to answer improper fractions and mixed numbers questions. I learnt this by doing this task.What we  had to do was add all of the fraction numbers.Then we had to solve it on a number line and then with numbers and then we had to write it in a sentence.

KiwiCan

In kiwi can we did a ball game, and it go's like this for example you get in to a group and form a circle then grab a ball any size ball that go though your legs after that is done then one person will roll the ball into someone's legs. I learnt that in the game people were really happy and had show downs between them. After the game we played a question game where in our groups we get one paper and one pen then write the answers for the game.After we played another game. In the games i learnt that each time we did something we felt happy, angry or shy.

L.I to jump with using your arms, bending your nees, look ahead, put your feet lined up with your shoulders, and land in a bike shape. In kiwi sport I learnt that you line up your feet with your shoulders. I also learnt that you have to use your hands to jump or you will not balance and fall. I also learnt that to land in a bike shape to keep you balance when you land.

LI: To use synonyms to make our writing more interesting. I learnt that synonyms are a word meaning the same thing to another word. I also learnt that sentences can be interesting or not. I did this by using thesaurus.com.

Kiwi can

This week for Kiwi Can we Talked about self control.We played two activity. The first activity was bing bong bounce.What we had to do was if Mrs Latioa said bing bong bounce then we say bang but if she just say bounce then we don't say bang.The next activity was G.K.Q what we had to do was answers the question that Mr Wong or Mrs Latioa said.I think this was fun because we had to control our self and considerate.

Games

L.I Create a game which would encourage building characteristics from previous lessons Take turns at sharing these games. I learn how to make a broad game. I learn it by tell my group to send me the google slide and then we had to put in the rule, instructions and the equipment and then we did an example of the game that we made after that on Thursday we went in the hall to teach them how to play the game that we made.

Contraction

LI: To use an apostrophe for contractions. I learnt that contraction is making a word shorter like I have - I've. I learnt that in contractions the word has an apostrophe and you take a letter or letters out to make it a contraction.

Today I played this game called raining money it is a maths games maths. It is a fun game there is Junior junior, junior, senior, and family one.you have to get the money, the more you get the more points you get and we were timed for 100 seconds.

LI: To learn about inferring. I learnt that inference is putting three short paragraphs in to one idea. I learnt that people feel different things like happy, sad, and angry and there is a reason why they are feeling that way. How I did this was by looking words in the text to make a idea and share.

Kiwi sport



L.I to run in a straight line and look ahead. In a game we partnered up with someone.  Then we had to pretend that we were squishing the bug. After we had to bent our legs then the foot that is at the back will automatically come up. Then we had to run and do it over again. We then  headed back to class.

Kiwi can

To learn more thing is life. I learnt in Kiwi can that emotion are what people feel and I learned about kiwi can, at kiwi can we learnt about emotions we also had a game and it was called Selfie stick. For the game we had to listen for Mr Malu to point to you and to say an emotion. I learned by playing games that are fun and smart like you have to think smart when we do G.K.Q.

Can Dos

Today for my can do l did the Addition Jet Ski game for my can do it was really easy put l came in 2nd places.

Relationships

LI: to learn how relationships change and how they are made
What I learned was how relationships are made and how they are destroyed.
How I learned was that I had to name relationships I have with me and people in my group.
We went in groups of four. 

2 words ... 1 minute

To write in 1 minute and make sure that our writing makes sense.
I learnt that 1 minute is really short time to write a story about family. We had 1 minute to write anything about the topic. Then we had 30 seconds to check the writing makes sense and proofread. I wrote about my family and got extra minutes then we counted how much words we have. I did this by using help from friends and teachers and by using google doc. I learnt by the teacher showing me what to do.

My family is so kind and careful. My family has good jobs that get good money. My family is the best family I ever had. Their really kind to people that are alone they talk to one another anywhere. My family is really nice when visitors come over to a party or our house. We like having fun with other people and with each other.  We love eating healthy food. On Saturdays me and my brother have rugby games and we go to the game and our family supports us and cheers on and on. I love my family.

Mix and Match


  • LI: To put fractions in order
  • Today for maths we did Mix and match we had to find the number that goes with the photo it was easy and not that hard to do. I learnt that on the right side the fraction are not like a half but on the left side the fractions are all like the 1st fraction. The fraction on he right are the fractions that are equal but on the left they are.
  • I did this by using google draw.

Imagery In Media

L.I To write down what are in common and what are they trying to say about the advertisement. I learnt to work with Alex and answer all the questions. I learnt it by thinking looking carefully and by listening carefully and then I had to write down My Answers.

Assemblies

Let me tell you about assemblies at PBS. First we walk to the hall quietly then wait at the door quietly for our teacher to tell us to line up silently on the floor. We sit sensibly on the floor and the year 7 and 8 sit on the chairs at the back of the hall. After all the class's have sat sensibly on the floor the people on the stage will ring the bell for when our princely comes to the hall.

LI: To think about how I can word/phrase my ideas so they are clear.
My story end because we did not get much time. I learnt that assemblies are important because you get special stuff. I also learnt that in story's there should be capital letters and full stops.

LI: To learn about QAR (question-answer relationships). LI: To learn about the four types of questions. I learnt about four question types. Theirs right there, think and search, author and me, and on my own. The four question types all mean things like right there is the answer is in the text. I learnt that green eggs and ham is a funny book and that questions always have an answer.
