Maori

Today for Maori we were learning about what is Matariki. Matariki is a celebration of a new year which is call Maori new year. This is on June the 15th. This a very special to the Maori people. This is done by gathering food and family to come and have a big feed to celebrate the new Maori new year. The Maori's knew this from the seven stars that show in the sky each year. We also are having a Matariki gathering on the last Wednesday of this term. We are having sausage sizzles, performances, and a assembly.

CyberSmart

Today for Cyber Smart we had to write down what advantages that are good for Online shopping and in person. For this everyone that was in the group had to do this task. There is group A and B. I'm in group B which is all the people that is in the group B. We had learnt all the shops and advantages that we can use if we are just shopping online or in person. 

Kiwi Can

Today for kiwi can we were learning how to be a role model. We were talking about what role models do you look up to and then we got into our energizer which was Cat and mouse. This game was fun and was easy to play. Some people need to stand in as many lines that can fill up the room to play. Just like it is shown on the photo, in the middle. Next we went on to our lesson which was about do role models use integrity and to be a role model to need to show off, but not to much. After that we play an activity. Which was The Catwalk. The catwalk photo is the last one. For this we all lined up in lines and people walked past doing moves like Micheal Jackson. This activity was fun.

We had also learnt how to sing Matariki song. We all watched a video of people dancing MAORI POI DANCE: MELVILLIE. We also learnt to sing this song NGA TAMARIKI O MATARIKI.

This week for math we had to estimate and measure how much liquid could fit into a container. We had learnt how to measure in litres and ml. We had were doing this in partners. My partner was Lorenzo. This task was not easy it was pretty hard.

Today we got 7 points we got 2 points of this piece of work.We had to make a word ring about the digestive system like I said before,so we had fine whats the most important and whats not important.The larger the ring the more it does not matter to the digestive system.Next to the word ring is a description about the words and very small meanings about it.

LI: to summarise a text using keywords.
This week for reading we were learning to review a site that is based on digestive system. The site is called follow your food because in the site it talks about where and the steps that your food goes through your body. This site is a pretty good site for teaching or reading to learn about the digestive system.
