L.I. To learn water safety.
For Kiwi sport it was the last week. For today we got to wear the life jackets. We first put the life jackets on and we did our safe entry into the water. We first had to swim to the wall and get into a group. We had to grab each other's life jacket and lay on our back. This was a chain pose and we had to move our feet to push us to the other side and back. We then had to get into a circle holding each other's life jacket and then let the smallest person into the middle so that the other people can keep the small person warm. The other way of doing this if you are alone is to tuck your knees into your chest and then use your arms to tight your legs to your chest. This is the HELP pose. HELP stands for Heat, Escape, Lessening, Pose. Lastly we did our pencil entry. We had to put one hand behind our head and the other on our shoulder using one foot to step into the water. We all had to do it and then we jumped into the water and then high five the instructors as we are jumping in. We then had to shower with the life jacket and put them away. I felt great and happy.

L.I to develop body movements of balance, rotation and strength.
This session is the last session for the term. For a start we had to do stretches. The stretches we did were: L shape, Seal, Butterfly, cat, straddle and back, front, side support. On each we had to push our self to feel the burn. We had to do each of them for 10 seconds and move on to the next one.
We had three rotation the first rotation had: going backwards on the beam, cartwheel on the box, cart wheel on the stage and forward roll on the bench. The second rotation had: star jumping off the trampoline, backwards roll down, 1 leg/scorpion hand stand and the half/180 jump. For the trampoline jump we had to get a high jump and move into a star shape position. For the 180 turn we had to jump on the spring ramp and turn half way.
The last rotation had: Hand stand against the wall, front support, parallel bars and back/side/front rotation. For the hand stand against the wall we have to hand stand putting one foot on the wall and the other stretching out and then switch. We then ended with telling the most difficult part of the challenges.

Kiwi Sport
For kiwi sport we are doing gymnastics. In gymnastics we were learning about the different stretches and what stretches do for us. Stretches help us loosen our body muscles. It makes the muscles relax which makes us more flexible. Some of the stretches are: Butterfly flaps, L stretch, front support, back support and more. We then had to do three circuits (which are like levels).

L.I to learn how to play the proper Ki o rahi game.
For Kiwi sport we player the proper version of ki o rahi. We had two of the teams which are Taniwha and Kioma. Kioma wears yellow tags and Taniwha wears Red tags. This tested of how we will be playing next week and so that if we get picked for the Kioma or Taniwha team then we can play the role. When we finished the score was five to one and the Taniwha team won which is the team that I was in.
