Kiwi Sport
In kiwi sport we first got into a little ripper rugby game and then we got into a passing drill which help a lot of us to pass back for the next ripper rugby game after that. We played a ripper rugby game and when someone ripped someones ripper then they had to pass back, but if someone doesn't get ripped then they could pass forward or back. Some people got confused and thought that you had to always pass to the back. In the first games when we got ripped then we could still pass forward. We learnt to call for the ball as in calling the person with the balls name.

Venus fly trap process
LI: to write detailed paragraphs.
This week for writing we were learning how to write detailed paragraphs about Venus fly trap. In a paragraph here is: Statement, Explanation, and Ending. We had to use the paragraphs in a explanation about how Venus fly traps catch preys. Paragraphs split up what parts in order to show how the object or thing works.

Kiwi Can
For kiwi can we were talking about what is a role model and what do role models do. We had talked about what role models do for kids to look up to them. Through our talk we had learnt that role models such as Mr Matt and Miss Lily do good things like helping someone find their way to somewhere or help them with work if they are in trouble figuring out to do it. After the talk we got straight into our energizer which was BANG!. People probable know this game. In this game people must form a circle to play, after the form one person will say a persons name and that person bobs down and the people next that person will say BANG! and fake shot the person on the other side of the named called out. Soon we got into our lesson which was talking about what role models do you look up to, so then we started to state what do role models do to make people look up to them. We also learnt to use integrity which was used in the games that we played. Finally going towards the end we had a activity which was fruity tooty. Fruity tooty is when one person says a friut as in apple is to hop forward and orange is backwards and banana is turn around, now we played our harm down which was GKQ.

kiwi sport
This week for kiwi sport we were doing ripper rugby, and in ripper rugby we were with Hamish which was the person training us. First in kiwi sport we played a game which included you ripping everyone's tags off people and the people with the most tags had to put them on their own belt and at the end we counted who had the most out of all of the people. We also played another game that was the same as the first, first you will have to get into a partner and you chase them when Hamish said we had to go. We had to put one of the tags on the front and the back. One person has to stand at the back of the person in front with his hands on his head. Then when Hamish said go then you run and try run away or rip a tag. After that we play a game which was like ball rush but its ripper rush. Finally we had played a ripper game and there were three teams. There were lots of trying from teams and some people stepped some other people.

Today we got 7 points we got 2 points of this peice of work.We had to make a word ring about the digestive system like I said before,so we had fine whats the most important and whats not important.The larger the ring the more it does not matter to the digestive system.Next to the word ring is a description about the words and very small meanings about it.

Volume and Capacity
L.I. to use non-standard volume units (cups, spoons, bowls) to fill a container and count the number used.This week for math we had to measure objects but before that we had to estimate before the measurement time. After that we measured the objects we had to put volume in the object that we measured. We had to count all the volume we put inside.
Earthworm digestive system
LI: to write an 18 sentence explanation.
This week for writing we had to watch a video about earthworms and write the explanation in eighteen sentences. First we had to plan it and in the planning we had to write in the explanation the order of what the earthworm digestive system was in.

Reading
LI: to identify keywords from a text.
For reading we had to read a text about counting kākahi. We had learnt that kākahi is only living in the fresh waterways and that some had almost disappeared from the whanganui river. Also I learnt that kākahi release ting larvae from themselves and that they look for fish to change into a Metamorphose. Kakahi are animals that live in fresh water and eat bacteria.

For kiwi can this week we were talking about our new topic which is role models. Role model are the people that we look up to like: Kobe Bryant, teachers, parents and more. Also our theme is still integrity and for our energizer we were playing doggy doggy. This game is shown on the photo which is when one person has to protect one or more pens from the rest of the people, if the person hits someone they have to run to somewhere and come back. For the lesson next after the energizer we talked about what role models do we look up to and why we don't look up to bad role model. While we were talking there were lots of role models like Lorde, Valerie Adams and more. After that we played a activity which was Who's missing. This game is simple, just one person has to be chosen to go in a room and the rest of the people have to figure out who is missing.

For Maori this week we had to create a slide with the greeting on the first slide with who we are (Which is the name.) This week we just had to add photos of our parents, brothers, sisters and all that is written on the slide show. Today we also had to draw emotions on the sheet that we got given.

Inquiry
Today we did two things about sensitivity or the nervous system.We did the venn diagram.The venn diagram was eazy it was about the nervous system and not about humans jellyfish as well as you might not know jellyfish dont have a central nervous system and a brain.That makes it eazyer all had to be about Sensitivity and the nervous system even if the living thing does not have a nervous system.Then we did the song lyrics we did it worng but it was fine,we had to fine words that we dont know or technical or scientitfic words like Depolarization.

Kiwi Can
Today we were at kiwi can and we had to sit down in two lines and we also had to talk about what our theme and topic, the topic is making the right choice, and the theme is integrity. after that we played our energizer which was CLAP! just follow the beat which is when you clap when the leader cross their arm or your out. next we sat down and we talked about what is making good choices look like. and then we talked about what is making bad choices look like. After we played our activity which was protect the jedi.

Kiwi Can
L.I to do great thing when no one is looking.
For kiwi can we have a new theme. The theme is integrity. For today's kiwi can we had no photo taken as well as last week. In kiwi can we talked about our theme and topic the topic is making right choices. Then we did our energizer which was opposite. It is when you do the opposite of what the leader is doing. After that we talked about what is things that we do that is good when no one is looking or if someone looking. Soon we talked about our theme and what it shows us, so that we can do the same. The activity was terminator tag again. This game is easy. The thing is DON'T GET TAGGED, or your out. The thing that was different was that we played it outside. After a while we did our GKQ.

The Divider
L.I. to split division problems into parts using known multiplication and division facts.
In math we had to divide numbers in to the answer using the divider. I choose my problem as shown on the photo and soled it. I split the numbers into 2 ways as shown on the photo below. I used these numbers because they seem bit easy.

The Multiplier
For math we had to play this game call the multiplier. The multiplier is a really great game which helps you with splitting up numbers as i used as shown on the photo. I was doing this and took photos, in math we were learning how to answer all of the 78 times tables. In math we also had to write down all the times tables that we still need to learn.

L.I to do something when no one is looking.
For kiwi can we have a new theme. The theme is integrity as shown on DLO. For today's kiwi can we had no photo taken. So we all had to create a DLO of what integrity is about. In kiwi can we talked about our theme and topic the topic is making right choices. We talked about what our topic and theme was last term and then got into our energizer. The energizer was 21. It is a fast passing game which need thinking a bit. Then we sat and talked about what integrity meant and then we went on to our activity. The activity was terminator tag. This game is easy.
