SLJ Task 10
L.I to learn about Venus and Serena Williams. For task 10 we had to watch a video about Serena and Venus Williams. They both play tennis. We had to find three facts that we learned that was in the video. Facts about the sisters: Venus William won Wimbledon in 2005. Serena Williams wanted equal pay and play for both women and men. Serena has won $80 000 000, Winning 23 grand slams.

Hi Andrew,
ReplyDeleteI really like the facts you wrote down about the Williams Sisters. You shoudl write down more and should also add a DLO (Digital Learning Object). I've also done this task. Do you think you could play tennis.
Good job!
Hello Andrew! Some of these are really good ideas I caught on to as well watching the two videos. I think the main idea was about equal pay though - which is a problem in many cases. What was the most interesting fact of the three you wrote? I think Serena Williams winnings really surprised me! I hope you continue the Summer Learning Journey over these holidays, nice job.

ReplyDeleteThank you for a great post! I really enjoyed learning more about the Williams sisters. Serena and Venus are such amazing women! You provided some really interesting information about them both, including a really important fact about Serena advocating for equal pay for both genders! Ka pai for all your effort!
Keep up the great blogging!
