Today we did inquriy.We had to make a video about,A slideshow.Its really not hard the task but it tock while to do the task.Here is the slide,The slide had to be about mrs gren.Not much people were in our gourp.The slide was the hardest part.There a bit of mistakes but it is way better then the video we did.The video had to be about the venus flytrap and we had to also prove that it was living by mrs gern.

Commenting

 I have said that he should be adding some writing to the blog to show people that he knew how he did it. I learnt how to make a smart comment and not to cyber bully. How learnt by using help. I also learnt that when commenting be nice about what you are going to say.

Show and Tell

LI: to write a descriptive scene.
This for writing we had to show and tell using this photo. All the groups had to this photo. We were suppose to take our own photo and show and tell about. I had learnt how to show using words to make sentences interesting. Telling is not so interesting because is the basic sentence.

Netiqutte

LI: to interact online in a kind, positive, and helpful way.
For Cyber Smart we learning about netiquette and ways to do this. We had two groups, A and B. Group B was the group that I was in and we all had to get into groups of three people and write down what we do online which is good things and the don't side which is the things that are bad. We made rules which I put on my behavior rules.

Kiwi Can

Today for Kiwi can we were talking about why we lie and why we tell the truth. We also had learnt what was our new theme which was accountability. We also learnt how accountability is a good thing or if it might be a bad thing. We had played for the energizer cone snatcher. This game was a cone snatching game when two people had one cone between them and the first person to snatch the cone when someone says a word you win and look for somebody else that has won and challenge. After the energizer we got into a circle and talked about what consequences are and some people knew. People tried to answer and got it half right but it still wasn't the answer. We then got into a game of Hand soccer, the game we played last week, but it wasn't boys against girls.

Inferring

LI: to infer information from a text. 

For reading this week had to learn about how to infer and we also had to infer books that we got to read and then infer to make a Comic strip. Go to https://www.storyboardthat.com . This task was easy for the comic strip but not the inference. The inference was pretty easy. The thing that I learnt was that to infer you need to look for clues and use those to say what the character or what ever is feeling or goingto say.

This week for Maori we were learning how to make two diamonds out of this string. In this task we were mostly learning about how to make things out of the things that we had been taught from Mrs Odie. She had taught us the paracute.

maths

L.I. to recognize the whole of an object, part of an object and equal parts and their names.
For maths we were learning about the numerator and the denominator. We are also learning about what is a fraction what the numerator is and the denominator. We have learnt that there is another way to say numerator which could be number and the denominator can be divide just for now. We also learnt that a fraction has equal parts. Numerator is how much you have and the denominator is how much there was.

Narration

This week for writing we were learning how to write a 18 sentence narrative.

Task

LI : To learn about MRS GREN
Today we did Inquriy. Andrew, karlos,me and Hosea made this.The task was not hard,We had to fine information about the human body,like blood cells,heart,capillary,arteries,veins,and lasty the alveali. To the task we had to fine not to much and not to little info.That was not the only task we did but,sadly were not able to do it.

Kiwi Sport

Today for kiwi sport we were playing games.We were not doing drills, but Hamish still told us what we could do to play better like pass to the person that is close to the try line where no one is and to spread out and much more as we play. There were four teams: one, two, three and four. I was in team one and my team came second. We played against each others team. The first teams that were first to play were one and two. Next were team three and four. After were team three and two. Then it was my team and to take on team four.

This week for reading we were learning how to infer. We had to infer three sentences in our reading groups. We were also learning what inferring was in the beginning. We were doing inference on sentences which were kind of hard not to lie they were. This was a fun and funny game because when people went to stand in the hula hoop people started to fall down. We had to run from the taggers and when the kiwi can leaders said shark attack the taggers then tried to tag us as we had to stand in the hula hoop. In this game some people tried to hide in the corners.

Today we were learning how to weave fish out of paper. Today for Maori we were learning about what is Matariki. Matariki is a celebration of a new year which is call Maori new year. This is on June the 15th. This a very special to the Maori people. This is done by gathering food and family to come and have a big feed to celebrate the new Maori new year. The Maori's knew this from the seven stars that show in the sky each year. We also are having a Matariki gathering on the last Wednesday of this term. We are having sausage sizzles, performances, and a assembly. we also learnt how to weave a fish out of paper and this was so fun that i never finished mine till now.

This week for Math we learned two new strategies. The Japanese and the Lattice method. The Japan method is pretty simple but can take time.

Narrative

L.I is to Identify the structure and Language features of a Narrative
This week for writing we first got 2 pieces of paper that we had to write on and those texts were: The Invasion and The kites tale. We had to write the Title, Orientation, Problem, Events and solution for both texts. We also had to look for Past tense words and a speech.

Rap

This week we did the Circulatory System.We made a rap and others things but they did not get finished. The rap took a 2 days to make it. We two then three people to help with the task.The task was not really hard. We also did this as a rap because you could do this as a poem.

kiwi sport

In kiwi sport we first got into a little ripper rugby game and then we got into a passing drill which help a lot of us to pass back for the next ripper rugby game after that. We played a ripper rugby game and when someone ripped someones ripper then they had to pass back, but if someone doesn't get ripped then they could pass forward or back. Some people got confused and thought that you had to always pass to the back. In the first games when we got ripped then we could still pass forward. We learnt to call for the ball as in calling the person with the balls name.

KiwiCan

Today for Kiwi can we were talking about why we lie and why we tell the truth. We also had learnt what was our new theme which was accountability. We also learnt how accountability is a good thing or if it might be a bad thing. We also had played an energizer which was Beat the teacher. We also talked about how to be accountable. We then had a activity which was Buddy move, this was favorite one this game includes at lest five people. We also had a GKQ which was question asked by the teacher that we had to answer and we also moved on to the next person when we answer correct.

For reading we had learnt why do our muscles get tried, and that was the book that we had read. For reading the teacher made a google doc to all the unknown words we did not know. Link to Doc. Today for Cyber Smart we had to write down what advantages that are good for Online shopping and in person. For this everyone that was in the group had to do this task. There is group A and B. I'm in group B which is all the people that is in the group B. We had learnt all the shops and advantages that we can use if we are just shopping online or in person. 

Kiwi Can

Today for kiwi can we were learning how to be a role model. We were talking about what role models do you look up to and then we got into our energizer which was Cat and mouse. This game was fun and was easy to play. Some people need to stand in as many lines that can fill up the room to play. Just like it is shown on the photo, in the middle. Next we went on to our lesson which was about do role models use integrity and to be a role model to need to show off, but not to much. After that we play an activity. Which was The Catwalk. The catwalk photo is the last one. For this we all lined up in lines and people walked past doing moves like Micheal Jackson. This activity was fun.

This week for math we had to estimate and measure how much liquid could fit into a container. We had learnt how to measure in litres and ml. We had were doing this in partners. My partner was Lorenzo. This task was not easy it was pretty hard.

Nutrition

LI :To learn as much about the digestive system before we move on an other subjet
Today we got 7 points we got 2 points of this piece of work.We had to make a word ring about the digestive system like I said before,so we had fine whats the most important and whats not important.The larger the ring the more it does not matter to the digestive system.Next to the word ring is a description about the words and very small meanings about it.

Site Review

LI: to summarise a text using keywords.
This week for reading we were learning to review a site that is based on digestive system. The site is called follow your food because in the site it talks about where and the steps that your food goes through your body. This site is a pretty good site for teaching or reading to learn about the digestive system.
