Doc Ranger

L.I to learn about DOC Rangers.
So for one of the task on the SLJ (summer learning journey.) So we have to talk about listing three pros (good things) and three cons (bad things) about working as a DOC ranger. So the three good things of being a DOC Ranger is that you get to see and feel what the animal life is about and you get to see different animals and the bad things about being a DOC Ranger is that they can attack you and kill you and just harmful things and they will be bad animals.

  1. Hey there Andrew, my name is Billy and I am from the Summer Learning Journey programme. It's great to see that you've already made a start and are completing activities.

I've enjoyed reading the positive and negatives about working as a DOC ranger. I think it would be a relaxing job, especially because you are out in nature a lot of the day. However, I worry that it might be a bit boring and lonely. You might miss living in the city and talking to lots of different people throughout the day.

What animals would you worry about killing you?

    Thanks, Billy

  2. Greetings Andrew,
You are doing so well in the summer learning journey! I think it will be good to be a DOC ranger because you can protect wild animals. You need to try and work on adding a photo from google that can fit with your blurb, but remember to attribute your images.

Keep up the hard work Andrew!

  3. Kia Ora Andrew, You have made a good start on the Summer Learning Journey. I think that if I was a doc ranger, I would probably like being one. It's great that you've added the tree good and three bad things about being a doc ranger. Would you be a doc ranger?
    Keep It Up!

  4. Hi Andrew,
Great job on completing this activity! I liked how you said that one of the good things about being a DOC ranger is is being able to see the wild animals and experience nature. Do you think he DOC rangers would be scared by the animals?
