Divide a region into equal parts using materials or imaging. I learnt that a fraction is cutting up thing that can be cut. I also learnt about halves and thirds and fourths.

Staying safe

LI: To identify personal strengths. LI: To express feelings appropriately. LI: To make safe decisions. I learnt how to keep yourself safe on digital and in general. I learnt how to be safe and made a poster about staying safe.

Capital letters and full stops

LI: To use capital letters in our writing.

LI: To use full stops in our writing.

I learnt that capital letters are used the first letter in a name, in celebrations, in days, in months, and in places.I learnt that full stops are used at the end a sentence. I did this by using google doc and using help. I did sentences that did not make sense and edited it by putting full stops to where it go's and capital letters.

Capital letters

Full stop

Ned runs ​away with the ball she will not bring it ​back. Ned will walk on her lead if Ned is ​not on her lead she will run away. Ned ​likes to chase cats and rabbits she digs in ​daddy’s garden mummy takes Ned for a ​walk to school to collect Fred. Fred loves ​to see Ned after school. Ned loves to see Fred too.

Kiwi can

In kiwi can we do activity s and lesson about honesty, integrity, and responsibility. Today we learnt about emotions. The activity's that we did was musical emotions and emotional statue. Our catch phase is "Kiwi can says emotions are what you feel, let others know whats the deal?"

In the game musical emotions Mr Malu will give us a emotion then we will have to do a instrument with the emotion. In the other game emotional statures is when that you go in a peer and you or your peer will be a the statue then you or your peer will be the creator. Then Mr Malu will tell us a emotion and the creator will make the statue as the emotion.

Plastic

I learnt that plastic can kill people and animals.Today we did a experiment on plastic. We had to get splinted up in four groups. We all had something to do, because each group did some work on plastic damaging our environment. I did not do much, but it was OK. We rotated around to different table to do each task. Each task was completed by each group. We had time to do each task which we did not know what to do. One of the ladies said there would be a plastic competition. In the competition you have to last a whole month without plastic, which is had. Over 1,600 businesses are involved in recycling post-consumer plastic. A lot of con A lot of countries banned plastic bags for no more killing animals and damage the environment. Recycling plastic saves twice as much as energy as burning it in an incinerator. LI: To plan and write narratives quickly.

I learnt that if you want to write a story you need to have compound, complex, and simple sentences. I learnt that stories are fake it's made up, if you want to write a story just think of something random and make it make sense. I did this by using google docs and using a little help from my groups plan.

LI: to engage with current events.

I learnt that there would be an new article each day. I did the lions beat the blacks and the blacks beat the lions. I did them because they were about the same topic. I learnt that articles can tell you information about stuff that has been happening like if you didn’t read the newspaper and there a hurricane then it will be the end of you, but if you do then you can be alive. I learnt by listening and by using google docs.
