Commenting
For commenting we have to comment on someones work and we have to help them improve their blog posts.
Improving text
LI- To revise and edit a recount.
Improving a recount is making the recount a more interesting. The more interesting the recount is the more people that would like to read it and buy it.We had to improve a partners writing by making additions and points. Once we had finished the adding we had to count up the points that the person adding on your writing and if they got the highest number then you would win and the others had to writing two other recounts.
Basic facts boxes
L.I to learn basic facts.
For basic facts boxes we have to chose a way of numbers that we are going to do so for example if I want to do up to ten then I can chose one up to ten or higher or lower. We also had to time our self as fast we can do it and when we have finished we stop the timer and try to improve next time we do this.
The Four Dimensions
L.I To learn about the four dimensions of Hauora.
Hauora is about the four dimensions that you need to have to be healthy. The four dimensions are: Physical, Mental/Emotional, Social ad Spiritual. As a group each person had to do all four dimensions and had to make a video for one, animation for one, poster for one and a skit for one. We first had to do the two drawings and put the answer into the question we think goes to. So for the bottom one we had to put the question into the answer we thought was right.

Tom Gates

SSR Selfie is a slide that we have to read a book for 15 minutes and then we have to summarize the text on a slide and we have to tell people about the book and some events that happened in the book. SSR stands for Sustain Silent Reading. The order goes from: Reading, Selfie and Summarize.

L.I to learn new sound and how to play ukulele.
In Music we had learnt about how to play the ukulele and we played One call away. We had to do C,F,G and A. We did the Ukulele first and then the xylophone. We played the song: One call away. We played these on Ukulele. We did the frets: C, G, A and F. We practice playing One call away for a long time because it was not sounding as nice. Some people that never got to go on the keyboards went on the keyboards for free time and the rest were learning with Miss Odie.

Keywords are words that unlock new information about the text or story. We had read a book that was non fiction. t was about Farming fish. This story is teaching us what things we need when there is a bad weather and make a pond for the people to fish whenever. Current events are events that have happened recently or right now. Current events is summarizing a text with the five W's and H which are: who, what, where, when, why and how. This will make summarizing a lot easy.

Kiwi Can
L.I to learn about friendships.
Friendships are a connection you have with someone that is a close person. That person is the person who you can trust and count on when you are feeling: sad, happy or when you are stuck and need help. Friendship is a important thing to have as well as family so that are not also ways lonely, to keep you company. We had learnt this in kiwi can and was a great way to learn what we have with people. We then got into the energizer which is, "Last man standing". This was a way to get to move around and be honest if you had been tagged. We then talked about the good and bad friendships we can have with people, and we also talked about the secrets friends have when talking quietly or privately. We had talked about he good kinds of secrets people have so things like having a knife in your bag and no telling anyone.

Statistics
LI: to learn something about the class or school using statistics.
Statistics is gathering information/data to answer questions. The question that I will be trying to answer is: Where is the most popular to rest and sit in PBS? The we are going to find the answer is by using a form and getting people to do the survey. This be much more specific and easy to do instead of: Asking people and them saying, "The trees". There is lots of trees and that is why we had made answers of the places that my group liked and added them.

Full Game of Ki O Rahi
L.I to learn how to play the proper Ki o rahi game.
For Kiwi sport we player the proper version of ki o rahi. We had to apply all the learning we did to play the full game Ki O Rahi. We had two of the teams which are Taniwha and Kioma. Kioma wears yellow tags and Taniwha wears Red tags. This tested of how we will be playing next week and so that if we get picked for the Kioma or Taniwha team then we can play the role. When we finished the score was five to one and the Taniwha team won which is the team that I was in.

Cricket Interschool
L.I to learn to play Cricket.
In Cricket we had three teams. Each team was from each year, but the year six girls had to join with year seven and eight girls. There were also year six and five boys. Year seven and eight boys. The year five and six boys played on one side of the two fields and the rest of the teams played on the other field. The year six and five boys (the team I was in) had won two out of five games. We had a by on one of the game so we were with two loses and two wins. The order of schools we played was: Stan Hope, Stone Fields, Panama Road and Tamaki Primary. At the end of the day we had thanked the people who helped out and were happy to play.

Improved Paragraph
LI- To identify different recounts
In Writing we were learning about how to sort a recount and we had to copy one of the paragraphs to improve it. We had got our paragraph from a messed recount that we had to fix. We had to put the recount in order which is TREE. TREE stands for Title, Reveal, Events and Ending. We started off with a messed recount and we had to sort the paragraph with the reveal to the ending. Once we had finished that we had to grab one of the paragraphs and we had to improve it by changing some words. The paragraph still had to relate to the topic.

Abuse
L.I to learn about all the different abuses.
We were with Constable Sirius and we were learning about the different abuses. The different abuses are: Sexual abuse, Cyber, abuse, Physical abuse, Family violence, Neglect, and Emotional abuse.
The meaning Sexual abuse is when someone asks you to touch one of their body parts. Cyber abuse is when someone is saying or texting mean things about you online for ages. Physical abuse is when you get punched or something like that. Family violence is when someone in the family is fighting another person in the family. Neglect is when parents reject you. Emotional abuse is when someone hurts your feelings.

Kiwi Can
L.I to cooperate with others.
For Kiwi Can we had learnt about the theme and topic and an extra one praise. The topic is Positive Relationships and the theme is Positive Communication. We had to then got into the energizer which was "Oppisite." which is when the leader says an action and we have to do the opposite of that action.
We then got on the mat and talked about what active listening is and how it is shown. We then got into the activity which was "Command & Conquer." This game was a fun game because there is four teams and one person from each team goes to the teacher and when the person comes back from the teacher the person had come to tell the whole group what to do. We then sat down and finished with GKQ.

In maths we had learnt about how to tell how many tens and hundreds are in a large or small. I had used the number 132 763. We had been given a place value grid document which we had to fill out with using the knowledge we know now. We had learnt that to find the tens you count the tens which is the six on the white board and count from there to one. The answer will be 13,276.

LI: To give some safety rules for digital technologies.
In Inquiry we were learning about safety, and what is not safe. We all had brainstorm different kinds of digital technologies for example: Hardware: Phones, Laptops and Software is apps that we use like blogger, You tube and Facebook. We then got given a doc that we were to type some positive and negative situations that happens on software. Some people started from the bottom, the middle and the top. KOS
LI: To identify behaviors by other people that make them feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
In Inquiry were learning about the types of feel. We also learnt about what is safe and what is not safe. We learnt this by doing this on slides and there is three slides. One is for Touch we like, Touch that hurt and confusing touch we want to stop. Once we finished that we went onto the next which is about what is safe and non safe. We did this on a doc and we were given sentences, and we had to rate it from one to five with (one safe and five not safe).
Personal strength are things that we are good at and things we like. I am good at Rugby and I like playing apex. Safe and non safe situations are actions that happen to people so like a safe situation is having a bike ride with family. A unsafe situation is playing soccor on the road. Link to DOC
Emotions will sometimes make people do some silly things. Playing games make me happy and when my brother annoys me I get angry. Ki o rahi
L.I to learn how to play the Kioma role.
For Kiwi can we were learning about the Kioma's positions and where he can go and not go. We played We had played a similar version of Golden child except we had a kicker which is actually in the game. Everyone had been split into Kioma and Taniwha. This tested of how we will be playing next week and so that if we get picked for the Kioma or Taniwha team then we can play the role. We played four rounds and each team never got the golden child (which is the last person in the line). We had a tie with the Taniwha.
Boring to Interesting
L.I to learn how to make interesting sentences.
In Writing we were learning about how to make a simple sentence into a interesting sentence. We were given a sentence and told what to add to the sentence. We did this in a group. We then got to chose one of the sentences that we given and made them interesting our self. We then got to chose the one best sentence out of the people that got together, once we finished the self sentence. We then got to make our own simple sentence and make a poster which is the one shown.

We did GKQ (General Knowledge Questions) to see who knew the most questions right and if you got the question right then you get to pick one of the reading strategies that the teacher chose. If you got the question wrong then the question will change and the person that got the question wrong will sit down with the rest of the teams remain standing waiting for the next questions.

How to tell time?
LI: to tell the time on an analogue clock.
For Math we had to learn about how to tell time so we used little clock to tell the time. We were using the little clock and we played like a game with the teacher to help with how well we know time. So we had clocks on 12 o clock, and it was a race for the person that got the right time then they get a point for their group. So when the teacher told a time so like one o clock then we had to change the time that was on the little clocks that we had and put the clock in the air to show that you have completed it.

In Cyber Smart we had to learn about how to make a blog post, but most of the year six's know how to write a blog post. We learnt about how to make a blog post and you start off with the first sentence which is what you learnt in what ever the subject or topic that you are doing. Then the next sentence or paragraph is how you learnt it, and the last paragraph or sentence is the what you did/used to learn it.

Taniwha Positions
L.I to learn how to play the taniwha role.
For Kiwi can we were learning about the taniwha's positions and where he can go and not go. We played We had played a time trial to test our skills. Everyone had to throw the Ki at the Tupu to get a point in one minute. The year 6's got the most points out of the year five and six. We then played another game that we had to get everyone to throw the Ki at the Tupu and sit in the Te Ao. We got into another game to test our skills.
